We really have no way to confirm whether or not this is real. The voice over is kind of suspicious considering it's supposedly an internal video, but it's also a lame voice over, so it could be intended for briefing employees or something. However, the YouTube version of this video was removed due to a copyright claim by Microsoft, so it seems that this was genuinely leaked.
What we know from the video:
- Kinect compatibility
- Head tracking
- Ability to interact with cars by using gestures
- More than 80 car manufacturers (The video claims that Forza 4 has more makes than any other game. Could this mean a Gran Turismo like number of cars?)
- Hollywood style audio and video effects (sounds similar to the Michael Bay grade audio in Shift 2)
- Augmented reality style displays of car information
- Beautifully rendered cockpits and engine bays
- 5 new track locations
- Active aerodynamics (speed sensitive scoops and spoilers)
- New social features, including car clubs and car sharing
- 16 player races!
Overall, Forza 4 looks like an even better game than I thought it was going to be. It looks like it might be the most accessible racing sim ever, while also providing hardcore racing fans a realistic experience. Forza 3 did this also, but I hope that 4 is really able to kick it up a notch.
